Warranty Details

  • All products come with a standard 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.
  • The MEX Education range comes with a standard 5-year structural warranty.
  • Other warranty lengths will be listed in the item description if different from the standard.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not include damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
  • Any repairs or modifications made by unauthorised personnel will void the warranty.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Identify the Issue: If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect covered by the warranty, please gather details about the issue, including how and when it was discovered.
  2. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team to initiate the warranty claim process. You can contact us by:
  3. Provide Proof of Purchase: Ensure you have your proof of purchase ready, as it will be required to validate your warranty claim. This can be a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
  4. Submit Details of the Defect: Provide a detailed description of the defect, including any relevant photos or videos that can help us assess the issue.
  5. Assessment: Our customer service team will review your claim and may request additional information or evidence if needed. We aim to respond to all warranty claims within 5 business days.
  6. Resolution: If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion:
    • Repair: We will repair the defective product.
    • Replacement: We will replace the defective product with a new or refurbished item of the same model.
    • Refund: In some cases, we may offer a refund for the defective product.
  7. Return Instructions: If a return is necessary, our customer service team will provide you with instructions on how to return the product. Please use a carrier service that offers shipment tracking.

Returning Products

  • Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery.
  • Include a copy of the proof of purchase and a completed return form with the returned product.
  • Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it and process your refund or replacement within 14 days.
  • Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the product is faulty or damaged upon delivery.

Restocking Fees

  • A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will be applied to all returned products, unless the product is faulty or damaged upon delivery.
  • Restocking fees help cover the costs associated with processing returns and preparing items for resale.
  • The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Warranty Exclusions

  • The warranty does not cover:
    • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
    • Damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or repairs.
    • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage such as scratches and dents.
    • Damage caused by natural disasters, such as floods, fires, or earthquakes.
    • Damage resulting from improper installation or use not in accordance with the product instructions.
    • Products used for commercial purposes, unless specified otherwise in the product description.

Warranty Transferability

  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
  • If the product is resold or ownership is transferred, the warranty will become void.
